The Museum guarantees a constant information and guide service for visitors.
The guided tour is free (with the possibility of leaving an offer at the entrance) and includes the story of the events of the 12th of August 1944, a visit to the exhibition rooms of the Museum and the path to the places of memory, the projection of a movie which illustrates the story updated to the developments of the 2005 La Spezia trial, the visit to the Col di Cava Ossuary Monument (reachable on foot in 15 minutes on the path of the Via Crucis).
Upon request it is possible to have the participation of a survivor who will recount their experience.
Upon reservation it is possible to carry out the didactic workshop "Paths of Peace" with accurate descriptions of the places of the massacre.
The visit has a total duration of about 2 hours; in any case the modalities can be agreed upon according to individual needs.
It carries out, throughout the year, educational activities for schools of all levels: guided tours, training, workshops, conferences and meetings.
The didactic itineraries aimed at classes are divided into three moments:
- frontal lecture, projection of filmed documents and discussion on historical and current issues;
- visit of the exhibition area;
- visit to the places of memory, with the support of museum operators.
The visit is free.
